The Pro 2000 is our most popular competition seat. It combines comfort and ergonomics with safety and performance. The non-slip fabric on the shoulder and cushion area and two lumbar support pads improve cockpit comfort. Made from an light fiberglass composite shell and wrapped in a fire retardant fabric, the Pro 2000 features a seat design that cradles the body for greater performance. The Pro 2000 is FIA approved.
Pro 2000 requires Spacer Kit (#50003) when installing using bottom mount attachment points.
The Pro 2000 has been upgraded with a new bottom seat cushion for 2017.
SPARCO Racing Seats are a tried and true performance seat and one of our favorites. At Redline360 we trust SPARCO for our own race cars and always recommend them to our customers. A proper seat is important for not only holding you in place and being as comfortable as possible, but it’s also a safety item. You want a seat that’s strong, light, well-built and won’t break from the G-forces during competition and races. We’ve seen cheap seats break in the strangest places and we simply do not trust anything less than a high quality seat like SPARCO.
SPARCO has been in motorsports for decades and has ensured that any typical weak points in seats has been addressed with their competition, race and street seats. For the street, we recommend a recling seat if the fixed back position isn’t comfortable for daily use. For track we recommend the fixed back seat to offer the most strength and lightweight build possible.
While racing seats are universal, not all styles might fit into your car. Make sure that the seat measurements are correct for your vehicle. If you’re not sure, take measurements of your stock seats and then compare the width of the SPARCO seats you want to buy to ensure the measurements are close.
